COTTON FABRIC

          Cotton fabric is a natural fiber. Cotton is a soft staple fiber that grows in a boll or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants. Cotton cellulose fabric. Cotton fabric have -OH group. Egypt cotton staple length is more than other countries. Egypt cotton fiber is well known in the world. Fiber is most often spun into yarn or thread and used to make a soft breathable textile cotton fabric microscopic view you shown in below picture.

    MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION :

    A) Longitudinal  view : Flat ribbon like appearance with irregular twist of fiber.

    B) Cross sectional view : Beam shaped or tubular form.

     FIBER PROPERTIES :

       Luster value is high of cotton fabric. Typical length is 2.2 cm to 3.3 cm. Density of cotton fabric is 1.54 to 1.56 gm/cm. Dimension stability of cotton fabric is good.

     APPLICATION OF COTTON FABRIC :

VISCOSE RAYON FABRIC

        Viscose rayon is a regenerated fiber. The viscose process dissolves pulp with aqueous sodium hydroxide and carbon DI sulfide. This produces a viscous solution. Cellulose solution used to spin the viscose rayon fiber, which may also be called viscose. Viscose rayon fiber is a soft fiber. Viscose rayon fabric have good properties.

        A) Longitudinal view : It is strait and parallel.

        B) Cross sectional view : Cross sectional circular to over shape.

        FIBER PROPERTIES :

         Viscose rayon is moisture absorbent. Viscose rayon is breathable, comfortable to wear and easily dyed in colors. Viscose rayon not build up static electricity.
